Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 17, 2026

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Micro-Forensics Publisher (the "Application") and the Micro-Forensics YouTube channel ("we", "our") access, use and protect data obtained through Google APIs, including the YouTube Data API v3, the YouTube Analytics API and the YouTube Reporting API. The Application is an internal tool used only by the channel team to publish episodes to, and review the performance of, the channel's own YouTube account.

Google user data we access and why

The Application requests the following permissions only after explicit authorization by the channel owner:

The Application does not access data from any other YouTube channel or Google account, and does not collect information about individual viewers beyond the aggregate statistics YouTube provides to channel owners.

Storage, sharing and retention

No sale or sharing. We do not sell, rent or transfer Google user data to third parties, data brokers or advertising networks.

Local storage. OAuth tokens and analytics data are stored only on the channel team's own computers with restricted file permissions and are never exposed through public endpoints.

Retention. Analytics data is kept only as long as needed for editorial review. Tokens are deleted when access is revoked.

Google API Services Limited Use

Micro-Forensics Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. The Application uses YouTube API Services; see the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
